Wilko has spent decades helping passionate gardeners to look after their plants and lawns so we need to ensure the packaging maintains Wilko's heritage and brand values. With a large portfolio consisting of hundreds of products divided among ranges, sub ranges and variants Wilko garden section needs to be quickly navigated with ease.
Our creative is based on the key purchase criteria that plays a role in the shopper's journey, helping them to quickly identify the right products for their needs. The final pack design rolled out across four sub ranges with over 2,400 lines, introducing a strong brand architecture that improved impact and created a coherent range on which to build the future.
YoBoo are responsible for creating and managing the Wilko Garden brand identity and packaging, including a refresh in 2017.
Own Brand Garden
For garden power tools Wilko wanted the packaging to make clear what, how and where the products are used paired with the task to be done and the result. We placed every product in it's environment of use with the operator. The impactful 3D angled shots show the products working elements mixed with "before & after" images - they come together to tell a complete story.
